Flocks of these endangered beauties find sanctuary in these 1,733 wooded acres southwest of Conroe. The Texas Forest Service utilizes the W. Goodrich Jones State Forest as a "demonstration forest" allowing them to continue developing the preservation of the natural environment. Nature trails, fishing, horseback riding, and picnic tables make this forest a perfect day-trip destination.     In addition to their Tuscan-style tasting room, they carry traditional wine merchandise, fine jellies, jams and sauces. They also host live entertainment at lawn concerts from mid-April through mid-November and have a cozy Bed & Breakfast above the winery where you can escape for a romantic getaway.
